Licensing
Simon Hill had a notable victory recently representing a bar owner in Sidcup seeking a premises licence for the first pole dancing venue in South East London/North East Kent. The application was successful and the licence, granted under the Licensing Act 2003, permits adult performances of dance and the sale of alcohol until 2:00 am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Simon said ‘it was a struggle to get the licence because there was considerable local opposition to this type of establishment and for such extensive hours’.
33 Bedford Row have been asked to provide CPD accredited training to a District Council about the impact of the Gambling Act 2005 on their licensing obligations. Find out how we can assist your training requirements.
Licensing falls within the work of the Civil & Commercial practice team.
