Profile
Elizabeth both prosecutes and defends in equal measure. Her practice includes murder cases, sexual offences, drugs offences, serious offences against the person, appellate and confiscation proceedings. She is regularly instructed in cases involving difficult or vulnerable clients.
Her current and recent caseload includes:
- R v Ali & Others - Winchester CC: Junior defence counsel in a multi handed murder trial.
- R v Puttock & Another - CCC: Historic murder of an elderly man. Complex facial mapping evidence relied upon by the defence and prosecution – Ongoing appeal against conviction.
- R v Jarrett & Others - Winchester CC: Junior defence counsel in a 3 month multi-handed drugs trial – Acquitted.
Elizabeth also undertakes family law cases and her practice comprises of public and private law proceedings in relation to children. In public law she has acquired considerable expertise in representing parents and relatives and in private law has gained considerable experience in dealing with cases with an international element.
Elizabeth accepts instructions in non-molestation injunctions, occupation orders, transfer of tenancy, protection from harassment and committals.
Elizabeth also accepts instructions in Ancillary Relief cases.
