Profile
A founder member of chambers in 1984 Richard's expertise extends to a mixed civil and criminal practice. His main civil and commercial specialisations are personal injury and clinical negligence, professional negligence and commercial contract disputes. He also advises on property law cases.
His criminal law practice has seen him appear recently as leading counsel in a prosecution of police personnel charged with perverting the course of justice and a large-scale high-value drug importation and he has been instructed on murder, attempted murder and rape cases.
Richard also regularly receives instructions in Judicial Review matters (see "reported cases, crime" below) and is an experienced and respected advocate in Courts-Martials in the UK and abroad.
Richard has been a member of the Turks & Caicos Bar since 1983.
