Alex has a down to earth ability that enables him to put complex across as simple and give full clear, reasoned explanations for quick and easy understanding of complex issues. He is brilliant with lay clients and quickly inspires confidence in his approach and with his understanding of the subject at hand. As an advocate he is prepared and quick on his feet with a well-rounded understanding of his papers and brief, he is definitely an impressive advocate to watch in court.

Alex is routinely instructed in Family Court private law proceedings. He accepts an array of instructions including cases of a complex and contested nature in financial disputes (including FDR’s and Final Hearings), dispute resolution, interim care orders, contact proceedings, occupation orders, urgent injunctions, fact finding and final hearings.

Alex has strong experience with High Conflict Family Cases, Non-Molestation orders, Protection from Harassment applications and Domestic violence in general. He has a keen interest in cases with an international element including jurisdiction and cross border issues as well as child abduction matters.

Alex is always happy to discuss cases with professionals prior to instruction and has a good reputation for helping deal with issues before they become problematic through his collegiate approach to work.
