Elizabeth is a barrister specialising in criminal law, international law and human rights, having been awarded scholarships by Lincoln’s Inn to undertake her training as a barrister.  Elizabeth prosecutes and defends in the Magistrates’ Courts, Crown Courts and Youth Courts. She is also gaining experience in family law, and has a particular interest in cases involving financial relief.

Elizabeth gained a substantial amount of broad legal experience which has provided her with a solid foundation in a number of areas of law.  She has worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and in a UN-partnered micro-finance organisation in Sri Lanka, in addition to working in a number of international law firms in London, including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Arnold & Porter.  She is currently seconded to the Serious Fraud Office where she works on the country’s most complex fraud and bribery cases.

Elizabeth is a third six month pupil at 33 Bedford Row, and so is not a tenant at/member of 33 Bedford Row.
