Rayan Qadri Secures Unanimous Not Guilty Verdicts at Snaresbrook Crown Court

Rayan Qadri, instructed by Fariha Nosheen of Lewis Nedas Law, secured unanimous not guilty verdicts during a trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court regarding two counts of attempted robbery and possession of a bladed article.

Prior to closing speeches, Rayan was successful in arguing that counts 3-5 on the initial trial indictment should not have been adduced to the trial. These counts concerned offences to which the defendant had already pleaded and had committed on the same day as the offences at counts 1-2. They included battery, affray, and disorderly behaviour. Rayan also successfully opposed a bad character application by the prosecution to adduce the defendant's previous conviction for possession of a bladed article.
