On 12 June 2026, Milad Shojaei and 33 Bedford Row Chambers were delighted to host the British Iranian Law Association (“BILA”) Debate Workshop, bringing together legal professionals, aspiring lawyers, and students for an evening of advocacy, critical thinking, and professional development.
The workshop provided participants with the opportunity to engage in structured debates on challenging motions. Competing in teams, attendees developed and showcased essential advocacy skills, including persuasive argument, strategic analysis, public speaking, and effective rebuttal.
A special thank you is extended to Meysam Rajaee, President of the British Iranian Law Association and future Pupil Barrister at Farringdon Chambers for his leadership and continued commitment to supporting legal professionals and students through educational and networking initiatives.
