Carl Buckley Appointed Head of Public and Regulatory Law

33 Bedford Row is pleased to announce the appointment of Carl Buckley as Head of Public and Regulatory Law.

Carl is a highly sought-after specialist barrister with extensive experience in public law, domestic and international human rights, and international criminal law. He has represented individuals in courts across England and Wales, including at appellate level, as well as before international bodies including the European Court of Human Rights and the International Criminal Court.

His domestic practice encompasses judicial review, civil claims against the police and public authorities, human rights claims, inquests and professional regulatory proceedings. He has particular experience in cases involving the protection of individual rights and challenges to the exercise of public power.
