33 Bedford Row's The Honourable Barry Leon, independent arbitrator, has published an article in The Lawyer's Daily in Toronto, on cross-border commercial court cooperation. The article, published on 23 July 2019, sets out some important developments in cross-border cooperation among commercial courts over the past 4 years, with collaboration aimed at:
- facilitating and increasing mutual understanding of laws and judicial processes, as well as communication, cooperation and efficiency;
- developing and sharing best practices; and
- assisting commercial courts of developing jurisdictions.
