Abbie is developing a practice in Chambers’ core areas, including Family, Crime, and Civil, following her successful completion of pupillage.
Prior to commencing pupillage Abbie worked as a self-employed County Court Advocate. She represented clients in a plethora of civil matters. This included: possession hearings, civil applications, procedural hearings, and small claims trials.
Abbie attended the University of Leicester achieving a 1st Class Honours LLB, before completing the BVS with LLM at City, University of London. She then went on to study an MA in Medical Law at King’s College London
During her studies, Abbie volunteered with the Prisoners Advice Service. Her role included assisting solicitors with their case work, by responding to letters from prisoners providing them with written advice on all aspects of Prison Law, and attending Outreach Clinics.
