EVENTS
On 17th February, Simon Hill judged the London Law Review Moot at the Royal Courts of Justice. He presided over teams from as far a field as India and the USA. The final was held in court 4, the Lord Chief Justices' court.
Simon said 'the standard was very high and Georgetown University from Washington won after showing a quite remarkable ability to deal with probing questions from the bench. It was a pleasure to judge and an honour to sit along with such distinguished barristers as John Cooper and Jeremy Dein QC.

LECTURES / SEMINARS
Marc Galberg and Daniel Dovar have been lecturing on Employment Law Updates. Topics were Age discrimination - the key concepts, defences and the new statutory framework. There was also be a lecture on unfair dismissal and the statutory disciplinary procedures.
Stuart Armstrong, John Law, Piers Harrison and Daniel Dovar have been lecturing on residential possession proceedings. Topics included: Trespassers; old tenancies; possession orders; 10 things that can go wrong. There was also be a practical workshop on the day.
