Scott’s paper which makes the case that Restorative Justice should be fully embedded into the Code for Crown Prosecutors has been selected for presentation at the annual conference of the Society of Legal Scholars to be held at the University of East Anglia on 2-4 September 2026. Scott will present on his paper on the second day of the conference.
Prior to entering fulltime practice at the Bar, Scott spent more than 10 years in education, culminating in his last full-time academic post as a Senior Lecturer in Law & Legal Practice at UWTSD, where he was responsible for the LLB and CILEX programmes. Today, alongside his practice he is a post-call Advocacy Tutor at Lincoln’s Inn.
Scott is a qualified teacher (Teaching Regulation Agency/Education Workforce Council) and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He holds a postgraduate certificate in Education and Masters degree in Professional Development, Education & Training. He can be booked to deliver training at law firms and internal legal departments.
