Instructing a barrister at 33 Bedford Row......
Barristers are professional advocates. They also provide legal opinions, advice on litigation procedure and the drafting of legal documents. The members of chambers at 33 Bedford Row are all self-employed barristers who can accept instructions to act for clients through a solicitor (or other authorised litigator), recognised professional body, or (in some cases) through the Bar Council's Public Access Scheme. For information about this scheme please click here.
33 Bedford Row is instructed by a wide range of solicitors and organisations, both publicly and privately funded across our three main practice areas. We are pleased to receive instructions under the BarDIRECT scheme and offer conditional fee arrangements in suitable cases. We offer a flexible and cost-effective service to our clients and the clerks will always take the time to assess your requirements and provide you with the appropriate barrister.
We operate an equality and diversity policy and will never accept or allocate work based on a request which is contrary to the guidance contained within the Bar Council's Equality and Diversity Code for The Bar or the Code of Conduct.
