Paul Williams and Ravinder Saimbhi Represented Defendant in Case Involving over £43million of Money Laundering

Paul Williams and Ravinder Saimbhi represented one of the defendants, JM, a cash courier, in a case that involved over £43million of money laundering by removal of cash from the UK with hundreds of trips being made to Dubai by the network between 2017 and 2019. It was suspected that the cash came from the sale of drugs and immigration offences. The prosecution, brought by the National Crime Agency included 16 defendants and was split over 2 trials at Croydon Crown Court. JM pleaded guilty on day 11 of the trial, on a basis that was accepted by the prosecution. He was sentenced to 1 year and 5 months in custody which was deemed served.
