Before becoming a member of 33 Bedford Row, Samuel dedicated five years to the British Army, where he held the role of an Ammunition Technician. In this capacity, he specialized in explosives, bomb disposal, and handling various types of ammunition. As a No. 2 Advanced Explosive Operator, he assumed primary responsibility for supervising junior soldiers and served as the second-in-command in a bomb disposal team focused on emergency responses to counter terrorism. Throughout this period, Samuel was deployed on numerous international missions, with assignments in the United States, Belize, and multiple tours in Afghanistan.

Samuels service in the Armed Forces has endowed him with a trove of skills that harmoniously resonate with the legal profession. This unique blend of attributes, coupled with unswerving dedication to his clients, bestows upon him a gentle yet unwavering demeanour in court, juxtaposed with a tenacious advocacy that resonates fearlessly for each and every individual he represents.
