Licensing Applications in relation to Business Premises

Our barristers can advise you on the following licensing applications for your business premises, whether that is in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol, opening hours and/or entertainment purposes. This includes representation before a local authority licensing committee, or in any appeal to the Magistrates’ Court.

Fees

We typically charge fixed fees, which means that we will charge you a set amount of money for the work. These are based on an hourly rate multiplied by our estimate of how many hours the barrister will be engaged on the piece of work.

We provide below some estimated fees for different types of work. These are estimates, given as a range.

The reason for the range is that various factors will affect the actual quotation given, including: (1) the experience/seniority of the barrister to be instructed; and (2) the complex of the work; (3) the amount of work required.

All fees exclude VAT (where applicable).

If you have a particularly complex case, or particularly large amount of work will be require, the fees quoted may be higher than the estimates below.
