33 Bedford Row and Arbitration Place Arbitrator Dancia Penn, OBE KC has been appointed by the British Virgin Islands International Arbitration Centre (BVI IAC) as its new Arbitration Committee President. 

In this position, Dancia will chair the 20-member Committee established under the BVI IAC Arbitration Rules, 2021 to ensure the application of those Rules. The Committee is composed of a diverse and experienced group of arbitrators representing five different regions of the globe: the Caribbean, Americas, Europe, Africa & Middle East, and Asia.

Dancia continues to accept arbitral appointments in the British Virgin Islands and elsewhere for cases which are not being administered by the BVI IAC, as well as appointments from anywhere for ad hoc arbitrations.
