On 1 February 2018, three 33 Bedford Row barristers contributed to a seminar on Commodity Arbitration. Barrister Dr Tariq Mahmood gave a talk entitled 'Commodity Arbitration - Legal Issues, Procedures and Frequent Issues', while barrister Mr Arran Dowling-Hussey delivered a presentation on energy arbitration and arbitration generally. Dr Tariq Mahmood was assisted in his talk by Mr Saad Bajwa (international pupil).

The event was held at the London Centre for Legal English, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. 

The event was attended by LLB and LLM students from different London law schools. Some students were writing their dissertations on arbitration. There were also a few academics in attendance.
