Lucy Keane is to Co-Chair the New York State Bar Association (International Section) Global Conference in London. The Conference will take place from 30 November to 2 December 2022 at Goodenough College, Mecklenburg Square, London WC1N 2AB. It will attract lawyers from around the Globe who will attend panels on a range of topical subjects and have the opportunity to network at social events including dinner at Lincoln's Inn and a reception at Middle Temple Hall.

Lucy will also be moderating a panel on "Art at War" at the Conference under the auspices of the Art Law, Art Funds and Art Finance Committee of which she is Co-Chair. The speakers include Professor Peter Stone OBE, UNESCO Chair of Cultural Property Protection and Peace at Newcastle University and current President of the Blue Shield. The panel will discuss the challenges facing states in times of war and armed conflict in protecting and recovering items of art and cultural heritage as well as current developments in the public law arena for holding those responsible to account.
