Dr S Chelvan - Head of Immigration, Public Law & Civil Liberties at 33 Bedford Row - recently attended the major Inter-Disciplinary Conference on Refugees, hosted by the University of Southampton.
The conference brought together a remarkable group of researchers and practitioners dedicated to empowering refugees and migrants through shared knowledge and innovative ideas.
Dr S Chelvan was delighted to contribute to the panel discussion focusing on: “Legal research and practice related to migrants and refugees: some recent developments and continuing concerns for human rights protection.”
The panel featured distinguished experts from the legal and academic fields:

- Ainhoa Campàs Velasco (University of Southampton Law School)
The event also featured a significant Keynote Speech delivered by the Bishop of Winchester, alongside contributions from Jane Falkingham.
