Introduction

Daniel joined Chambers in November 2018 and specialises in criminal law. He is regularly instructed to prosecute and defend in the Youth Court, Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court.  

Daniel has been instructed in the full range of hearings on behalf of the Defence, the Probation Service and the Crown Prosecution Service. He has also acted in Private Prosecutions. This experience includes acting at all stages in cases of violence, dishonesty, drugs, and driving related offences. He has particular experience in special reasons and exceptional hardship hearings.

Alongside criminal law, Daniel is regularly instructed by the Nursing & Midwifery Council to act as a case presenter before the Fitness to Practise Committee. This involves making Interim Order applications, conducting Substantive Hearings, and reviewing Substantive Orders. 

Previously Daniel has worked on the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse, on large-scale disclosure reviews for leading city law firms, and been seconded to a sports law firm where he built up experience in sports and regulatory matters being brought before the Football Association and FIFA.
