Clive Redley and Denise Gilling KC successfully appeared in the court of appeal in a case characterised as a disproportionate intervention in family life where the sanctioning of permanent removal from grandparents care by a Local Authority amounted to a flawed welfare decision as the risk was based on unproven and unclearly defined matters.
