On 6 November 2025, Diana Constantinide had the honour of moderating a distinguished session titled “International Anti‑Corruption Court: To Be or Not To Be?”, organised by the Commonwealth Lawyers Association.

The webinar brought together leading experts in international law, anti-corruption, and global governance:

  • Justice Richard Goldstone, former Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa and first chief prosecutor of the ICTY and ICTR
  • Professor Prosper Simbarashe Maguchu, assistant professor specialising in financial crimes and international asset recovery through a human rights‑based approach
  • Cynthia Gabriel, human rights activist and founding director of the anti‑corruption NGO C4

During the session, the panellists explored:

  • The legal, political, and practical challenges to establishing an International Anti‑Corruption Court (IACC)
  • The role of such a court in holding kleptocrats and transnational corruption networks accountable
  • Alternative approaches to combating grand corruption and improving global accountability
  • Diana Constantinide, an experienced barrister specialising in international criminal law and human rights, guided the discussion with skill, ensuring a thoughtful exchange between practitioners and policymakers.
