Ravinder Saimbhi secures acquittal for defendant accused of sexual assault against a colleague while at work. The trial in Harrow Crown Court lasted 3 days and involved careful and sensitive cross examination of the complainant through interpreters for both sides. The case involved challenging the prosecution on the basis that the allegation was a false one, through skilfully and appropriately identifying and drawing out the complainant's potential motives.

The jury returned a Not Guilty verdict within 3 hours. The defendant, a 63 year old man of good character who had lost his livelihood as a result of the allegations, was relieved and delighted by the the outcome.

Ravinder was instructed in the above matter by Roopa Kotecha at IBB solicitors.
