Ravinder Saimbhi secures acquittal in Inner London Crown Court for British Army corporal accused of possession of a bladed article.

The defendant was of impeccable character, with over 15 years’ service within the British Army, however he faced the prospect of being discharged, and potentially being sent to prison, if convicted.

In advance of the first day of trial, submissions were made to the Prosecution, and on the first day of trial, the Prosecution conceded the case and offered no evidence against the defendant. A formal 'not guilty' verdict was then returned. The defendant will now be able to continue his service in the British Army.

Ravinder was instructed by Kevin Williams at GT Stewart.
