In a separate article, published on 8 April 2020 and entitled 'UK judges tweak insolvency practice direction in face of lockdown', the Honourable Barry Leon is quoted on the subject of virtual hearings and the new Insolvency Practice Direction. This article is published in the Global Restructuring Review (GRR) and written by GRR's editor Kyriaki Karadelis. GRR is a sister publication to Global Arbitration Review (GAR). In the article, it notes that the Practice Direction provides for various forms of hearings by electronic means and on paper, including dealing with virtual hearings.
